Diamond Uber Eats Driver here. I used Car Advise for the first time on Monday. I needed a Crank Shaft Position Censor. I called several shops around town and was quoted anywhere from 279 to 300 dollars. Through Car Advise I paid 223, so yes, discounts are out there. Don't give the advice of NEVER using the caradvice benefits. Just say sometimes its cheaper to walk in, but check and see which is cheaper first.

Look I drive for Uber for almost 5 years now and that program they put it on there it's all about helping the drivers not about ripping them off let's make an example I drive my car I break down by transmission and I cannot afford it by taking to a shop so now Uber comes in with their benefits that they call car advise.. it is a good deal for all drivers that cannot afford a major problem at the time they don't have any money this program helps you get you back on road as soon as possible you don't have to pay anything to the shop take your key and go you will do what your payment with Uber in car advise by monthly payments I'm sorry if you guys think that they're ripping you off but it's not about ripping you off it's all about making sure you're back on the road and keep hustling

As far as I am concerned Uber is on some Bull! They act like they don't understand that we have major expenses operating these vehicles. Insurance & gas is enough to make your hourly pay around $11 and not to mention they are beating your car in the ground in the matter of a year or so. This benefit or so-called benefit doesn't mean squat. If you really want to help give us some cashback on repairs and gas purchases. This way it can increase our hourly time to at least $20 to $25 an hour so we don't feel like we are being pimped.

Why are repair shops giving Uber or Lyft drivers discounts? We don’t drive your cars to shit, you guys do. So why should any shop sympathize and take the hit by giving away their work and in the long run lose money? Who are you? You’re just a driver like any other person out there driving their own vehicle. You’re not a company with a large fleet that brings repeat business. Shops need to stop lowering their standards to bs like this. Our landlords don’t give us discounts on our shop rent, so why should you get a discount on you repairs? That’s your overhead and unfortunately you have to deal with it. Welcome to the world of the self employed.

Don’t go with caradvise, they told me I am going to get 25% discount if I go with their premium which I accept it but I got 7% after waiting for 3.5 hours just for oil change and pay $28 more than other service centres. When I called them, no one wants to accept this and the most frustrating is they want me to Emai them to cancel services which I did but got no reply from four days. Go with your regular ones dont trust cardvise
