Probably a dumb question, but I will ask it anyway: why don’t electricians use over-size conduit in trenches so that new wires can be pulled through years later when issues arise (if they arise). I know that there is a cost issue; and, I know that long runs can be difficult to pull. Just curious as to why it’s not done.
