I dont even know what you're talking about but the way you describe and talk through things is great. Good work!

When I had our Federal-Pacific breakers (no longer made) replaced with Square D, we also added a little thing called a MAIN BREAKER. Can't believe that wasn't mandated under code when the house was built (or, maybe code was ignored).

Question what would cause intermitting flickering of the lights on parts of the house every once in a while just started a few months back and is it a simple fix or to worry about?

Is there anyway to get a clamp meter on the ground to see if that’s how it was getting the neutral?

Good pickup w the neutral wire substitute I give you credit posting on you tube is rough with all the comments and everyone saying you should do this or that. Especially if you work outside the box I say whatever works

Voltage spookiness is always an open or high-resistance neutral, isn't it?

The moment you check voltage at the main panel and have high voltage on one leg, and low voltage on the other leg, that is the classic symptom for a bad neutral connection. (Example, 115 volts on one leg, and 130 volts on the other.) It can damage appliances and electronics and light bulbs so it's probably best to turn off the main breaker until the problem is corrected.

Why do the wires in my panel keep getting loose, requiring tightening every few months and causing flickering lights?

Yes, he knows how to follow through
He knows his stuff, but his camera person needs to stay focused and the sound clarity sucks.

With so many people viewing your videos, why show them touching the main lugs you know some of them will think this is ok! Just concerned too many uneducated people.
