Crazy. When I started grad school in 1989, the university's IBM mainframe was the size of a house, cost 30 million dollars, had 12 100HP air conditioners and was 1/100th the power of this. Thank you, Moore's Law.

It's a neat little computer, and is one of the finest little PCs to grace a keyboard since the old Amiga 500 or Apple II! It also takes up a lot less desk space than the mess of cables I usually have sticking out of my Pi 4s in all directions.

This is awesome! So cool that you went to such lengths to make it work so nicely! In many ways it seems like it could fulfill the original Pi mission of being the accessible plug-and-play learning computer even better than the normal form factor!

But while I hate to say it... I still wish it had full size HDMI. Even if it meant the extra usb 2 had to go or move to the side, it would have been worth it. But I get how it is. Congrats again, and good job!

This took a while to arrive, people have been wanting and making their own versions of these for years now. A black version would look really nice, and an 8GB would be great. Such a shame about the CSI and DSI ports now being removed, more USB overhead for webcams etc... Still want one though! lol

I remember my childhood. My father had those keyboard computers, which you connect to on television and must operate by command lines. I'm graduated in Internet Systems, Postgraduate in Digital Games and finishing my second degree in Software Engineering. I say that I'm delighted with this new Raspberry. I've Rasp Pi 4, and I use it to study and learn a little bit of Linux. I would be delighted to even advertise this product commercially! Cheers!

I like it a lot, but...why stick with Micro HDMI D when you have the space there to put two standard A ports? Those micro plugs never seat properly for me, they're like the USB Micro B of HDMI.
I hope you switch over to USB-C type connectors with HDMI (and maybe DP) mode for the next Pi generation because those connect quite a bit better.

Ordered mine today. You should consider selling keyboard cases for the older modules too so we could use the 3B boards in the same form.
