I'm a french Polynesian from Tahiti, and we also have coconuts sprouts. It does not taste like french bagette. It tastes like coconut water that's it. For the texture, imagine a spongy yet soft apple

On my village, everytime a coconut tree is cutted down, every kids will scatter around to find that sprout to eat it. Now im an adult and I missed the taste of that sprout so much.

And here I can barely buy some seasonal oranges or maybe apples or some other fruit when I have money.😭😒
Those lands he visits are a true paradise, and if you learn to survive in their ecosystem, nature will give you its delights! 😍🤩
On the other hand, I think he should put in his videos the place where those fruits are.

From the size of coconut, I believe you are in Thailand. In Koh kood, I saw hundreds of these germinated coconut lying on the beach without anyone collecting it.

Resorts could easily serve these to guests as a unique food.

i seen this video or another one on this stuff he made a while ago, i live in thailand now and i found a coconut sprout, that shit was actually bangin lmao, super strong coconut flavor with a texture almost like chewy moist cotton candy.
