What's great about this is that it's not too often we see Madlib chopping - usually digging loops. This was dope!

It's like falling in love again, I remember first hearing this joint in like '05 maybe '06.

i always fucked with the way madlib sampled this piece as the sample itself set the story in place to the obvious DOOM and Viktor beef.

but i always fucked with the subtle sound effects and the tidbits of the phone calls you hear with DOOM arguing with girl who cheated on him.

The first few seconds of the sample and the sound effects, “I hear you in the background, whenever I call, telling your brother to say you’re gone.” To the “put your sister on the phone” sound effect in the actual song.

Mannn. The subtleties and the chopping immerse me heavy in this song, DOOM was center stage to a great production piece by Madlib.

This is my fav DOOM track, from the intro that just sets the mood perfectly, to the storytelling and hilarious wordplay... DOOM even uses the sample to rhyme. Absolute classic!
