Absolutely crazy. The amount of little samples they took form 1 beat. Amazing.

hooly shit I did not expect the chops to be this complex

This is one of the greatest sample flips of all time imo. The chops and the way the vocals are manipulated are incredible.

Advanced chopping! No I.D. has a interview (wish I could remember) where he explained how he developed this new chopping technique. Shout out to Tracklib for visually bringing it to life! 🙌🏾

My mouth dropped when I saw how many parts were chopped from the song! They were all in a random order but they still were able to come together to create one of Jay-Zs deepest song to date! Amazing work!

I really love the chopping of most of the beats on 4:44. The production on that album is something else man. The aesthetic of chopped samples on that whole album make it a unique experience

I can’t belive that song is already 5 yrs old. The most deepest Jay Video ever made.

NO I.D. A Genius on this one. 🔥

one of my favorite beats of all time! if anyones wondering how this was done, it's not *as* complex as it seems at first. notice the piano riff which repeats throughout the whole beat. clearly from the number of different chops that piano riff is played a number of times in the original song. what No I.D. did was take several of those piano riffs from throughout the song, chop single pieces out of all of them, then replace parts of each piano riff with one from another part of the song. what you end up with is something that sounds distorted and random on the surface yet has a really cool cohesive flow underneath. beats like this are why No I.D. is a hip-hop genius.

After seeing crazy chops like this, I wish you would do a breakdown for "Evidence - LetYourselfGo", prod. by The Alchemist. Absolutely crazy chops as well.

Literally listened to this yesterday and hoped y’all would someday do a breakdown on this… this shit is crazy!

Edit: I’ve watched this about a dozen times. I can’t get over how good this is.

Crazy how it looks like the snippets are in a random order, but it somehow all works.

Bro this shit is CRAZY!! I knew that the chops were advanced but damn bruh! Finding those chops must've been like doing a cheat code on GTA. It's only right that Tracklib does another MADLIB beat breakdown after this
