sampling back in the day is honestly so crazy. they didn’t have an entire collection of music at their fingertips to listen to whenever they wanted. they really dig through hundreds/thousands of albums to find the right samples to layer. sampling is one of my favorite techniques in music production

I accidentally noticed that Sade song was used for this sample, while I was listening to kiss of life I was like I heard this before and immediately thought of MF DOOM. The art of music is a beautiful thing.
