Healthcare workers are experiencing major COVID burnout and it’s taking a toll on their mental health. Mother of 6 and nurse practitioner Sophia shares the realities of what it has been like for her working on the frontlines in New Orleans. Very true. Knowing this helps me cope. Be thankful, help where you can and STAY HOME IN THE WORD OF GOD. It keeps me sane because alot of us were already having issues when the pandemic started.

I am not sure how to remedy this though when I am only one of two workers running a breakfast buffet at a hotel. I feel like I would get laughed at for wanting to work less hours, because it probably wouldn't be possible. Any other job in the food industry seems to be the same rat race; where you find out that your job title isn't your only job title. If the janitors do a crappy job, then you have to sweep the entire area before they come there to sweep. Because they don't do a good job, they get rewarded for it by getting other people to do half of their work. Which leads me to wonder why they don't just hire a different janitor. I am burned out, I am frustrated, and my symptoms of depression are coming back. It scares me because I wonder if I will no longer be able to perform and end up jobless and broke 😔.
