My EMP Proof Solar Power Station Kit
The threat of an EMP inspired SHTF event is continually growing. Here is my plan to have a renewable power source even after the grid goes down.

The grid could go down at any time from a man-made EMP or naturally occurring CME event. Having power after that happens could make life much easier in what would likely become a SHTF environment very quickly. This was my approach to having power even after the big one happens.

Its a great bag. It the only EMP proof bag that fits the Ecoflow Delta Pro. Inergy has an EMP proof portable solar generator. They teamed up with EMP Shield to create it.

I've been using a pair of Off Grid Trek bags to store a Bluetti AC200P, B230, 9 PV200 solar panels, associated charging components and a handful of USB battery banks and miscellaneous electronics for about a year. I open them weekly to validate the charge levels on everything. Great bags that are a bit pricey, but a worthwhile investment to help protect many thousands in backup power gear.

Well, Magic, I checked out the prices, and as nice as they are, there's no way I'm spending that much money on either product. I do have several solar panels that fold up, and you can wrap them in a blanket and cover with aluminum foil, that doesn't look at nifty as what you have, but that's my budget. You're a lucky guy... Those are nice gifts.

Perhaps add a small stereo Hi Fi amplifier like the Trends Audio TA10.2 to listen to some music from an iPod touch 4 after the event.

Awesome kit 🙌🏻👏🏻, I literally left a comment on black scout survivals video the other day explaining exactly this, one of the items I mentioned that people could put in the EMP bag is some cordless power tools. Great video MP

I just have a Briefcase EMP setup. A Dicota Aluminium Briefcase. Inside is a couple of Tech Protect Faraday bags (MIL-B-81705-Rev-C), which contain a Brunton Solaris 26 folding Solar Panel to power an EASYLONGER Portable Power Station 266Whr GP14 Solar Battery. A couple of Wouxan HAM radios.
I also keep an OUKITEL RT1 Ruggedized Tablet and a Sigma Prepper Raspberry Pi Off Grid Internet Hotspot Server and an SDR wide band radio receiver (Malachite Radio) in the case. I also keep a separate GIANDEL PS-300C 12V 300 W Pure sine wave Inverter with a Cigarette Car Plug and a couple of 30000mAhr Charmast Lithium Ion Power bricks.
I will also probably need to get some replacement electronics for a Bafang electric Bicycle conversion kit such as the 850C Electric Bicycle LCD Display Mid Motor Meter Controller stored away as well to keep an electric bicycle working as well.

I would also recommend adding 1 more radio for relay commo think 1 can go on the high ground then relay the message over a much greater distance than just the 2 sets

I have two of these bags. One for my Bluetti AC500 and one for the two B300S battery units. They are well made and block EM radiation in my home testing.

I would also add a number of 3rd party Maglite LED Bulbs into the EMP protection kit. They are very small and the Maglite Torch itself doesn't need to be put into the protection bag.

For a sightly cheaper option => Mission Darkness Eclipse Faraday Bag for Solar Panels & Extra-Large Electronics. Military-Grade RF Shielding Case Designed for EMP/CME Protection, Preppers, and Personal Security $380 can handle all sorts of multiple panels configuration. So no need to buy another panel that will fit in this bag. I still encourage this solar panel if you can afford but this would be a fraction of the price.

What sucks about living in an apartment is how close your neighbors are and how you wouldn’t really have any options for using something like this without drawing a ton of attention to yourself. I’m writing this as I lay in bed wanting to sleep listening to my neighbors blast music in their living room with a karaoke party. It has me thinking it would be so sketchy powering my electronics out in the open if the grid went down.

A galvanized trash can, insulated interior, conductive gasket, set me back less than $80, and I could have used cheaper insulation and tin foil for a gasket to make it basically the cost of the trash can. Holds cheaper folding solar panels, generators, comms, cables, tools of the trade.
