With the new world height, a new ‘abyssal ocean’ biome would fit in really well and be super pretty!

"The Beyond Bright" sounds like an Aether Mod Biome. While "The Deep Dark" is way below ground. The Beyond Bright is high up in The Sky among The Clouds. Where most of The Sun's Light shines first.

I really dig the whole bio-luminescent idea for a future cave biome. When they first announced Cave and Cliffs and that they were doing cave biomes, I was really hoping that we would get at least 4 (similar to the Nether Update). The 3 that we got are pretty amazing (Lush Caves, Dripstone Caves, and Deep Dark), but there were a lot of possibilities for a 4th... lava caves, ice caves, mushroom caves, and I always thought a bioluminescent cave biome would be amazing. I really hope that Mojang implements this in the future whether it is something they add to the Overworld at some point or in a future dimension...

Bioluminescence, crystal clusters, and floating jellyfish would have made such a COOL underground biome. I hope they come back to that idea in a later update.

also the beyond bright is a great alternative to deep dark like aether for neither.
