Did you know that pressing the Subscribe button can also help keep Herobrine away?

i think the reason why herobrine and tons of other creepypastas are so scary is because usually when reading a creepypasta story you dont get a complete picture of what the antagonist of the story is. meaning that it becomes the most horrifying monster of all, the monster your mind makes for you.

Fun fact for y’all. The “removed herobrine” patch note WAS in every single major update change log…

Up until 1.16, the nether update. There has been no mention of removing him since then.

I have a pretty unique story about the blank eyed demon. When I was younger on W10 edition, I looked up Herobrine summoning shrines. I found as many as I could, and built all of them in my creative world. Around 15 minutes later, Minecraft crashed entirely. When I loaded back up into Minecraft, the world said it had around 70 gigabytes of storage in it, despite it being significantly lower before. When I tried to enter the world, it crashed again and the world proceeded to delete itself. 10-11 year-old me became extremely skeptical about Herobrine actually existing after that one. I would come to find out that it was a bug that ironically happened on that world in particular. So that was fun.

I remember how I used to be obsessed with the sighting videos of him due to how creepy yet adrenalizing they were

You know, I would 100% download a mod that added the original style of herobrine into the game. One that wasn't malicious, but just... Odd.

Sometimes at night when you got in a bed it told you another player needed to sleep, even in single player, always one more than the current amount, but only for 10 seconds before disappearing. Sometimes you would be out and about and a message of " is sleeping in a bed, all players need to be asleep in order for time to pass". No name, no nothing else weird.

Sometimes structures that you have never visited before have already had their chests emptied and trapped deactivated. Sometimes you would come across trees without leaves, random dirt structures, odd things.

But you wouldn't see Herobrine fully. Maybe you see what you think is a player in the distance, maybe you'll hear mining outside of your house and some nearby dirt is gone, but by the time you see it nothing is there.

He never attacks you directly. Never hurts you in any way intentionally. He's just there, like another player in your game, but not.

The fact that I still get a rush of primal fear whenever I see herobrine 😭

In a server I used to play on years ago, the mods trolled players by doing the things herobrine did in the stories, and then teleporting over in a herobrine skin with the name missing, and disappear as soon as you saw him, or even just caught him in the corner of the eye. Used to scare the shit outta me when I was younger.

Since his first "appearance" Herobrine bacame always present in our worlds. By thinking of him is the only way to actually feel him. No mods, no texture pack, no codes, just our minds. Herobrine is our worst fear in Minecraft.

I was terrified of mining in Minecraft for so long. Didn't help that my brother told me he would be in Mine Shafts and he was haunting.
Every time I forced myself to mine to get resources and I would be super paranoid. It felt like I saw some things that were probably just some mob or fog.
I am getting better, and better at handling the darkness. But soon there'll be another creature to hunt us down...

I think Notch missed an opportunity with Herobrine. I think that Mojang never really needed to add him in like with a character model or anything big like that, but rather, perhaps spawn a very rare book in dungeon chests or monuments describing a ghost, a lost player in the world and suggesting that maybe you arent alone in the huge world of Minecraft. Maybe adding into the lore suggesting that Herobrine is real wouldve been fantastic. Never mentioning his name or what he looks like other than white eyes, dwelling somewhere in history in the far reaches of the world. Herobrine will always be a part of the game and a legend, and the idea of him deserves to be immortalized in the game officially in some way.

I've actually found one of "herobrine's" tunnels. But it was probably just a generation glitch.

I’ve always believed that Herobrine is as real as people allow him to be. Was that cave noise him? Yes it was. Was that weird chunk loading bug him? Yes it was. Was that HOAX him? YES. IT WAS. Because Herobrine was there, just not in the way that people think.

For me, Herobrine is not a someone or a something. He’s an IDEA. A thought. If you consider something to be or be caused by Herobrine, the yes. It IS Herobrine. Because your thoughts make him more real than any patch notes. In the end… isn’t he real to someone? Herobrine is real, just not in the way people think - but also in the way people TNINK. Does that make sense? Maybe not.

Been waiting for another video on this channel! Great topic choice, I remember the herobrine story blowing up and when they started “removing” him. Thank you for the extra insight :)

In one of my singleplayer worlds back in 1.2 I had this weird thing happen to me. Every now and then random, single brick blocks would appear around my house and in other parts of my world. As far as I know there is no way brick spawns naturally and with my young age I didn't even know how to craft brick. Some time later I found a Iron Golem in the middle of a Forest miles away from my home, no village in sight. Never touched that world again after that.

I remember when the newer ambient noises were implemented. Scared the shit out of me as I hadn't read the patchnotes for that update. Once I began actually listening for a few minutes and the sound triggered again, it didn't take long to figure out there were new ambiences. My game was unmodded, so it didn't take much to narrow down what the source was.Even went and checked the patch notes to confirm and yup. Gave me a good scare though and I loved it! Even now the ambiences still startle me. lol

What if herobrine was just the embodiment of bugs and glitches that made it Minecraft? It's not like that Herobrine is real as a player like entity but as the one who makes up the things that are weird and horrifyingly unique. This might be why Minecraft Updates are always saying removing Herobrine because they were removing thee bugs.

Something that occurred to me in-game a lot when I was little, would be that when ever I left the home down in the mine directly under it, I would sometimes hear my door open and close, I would always go back up and find nothing. I always thought it's some sort of bug/glitch, although I always wondered what it actually was, a Chicken opening my door? Or a Enderman? Or a Bug? At some point I tried googling about it but didn't find anything.
