After everything that she had done to others Cersei’s death was far too easy, especially getting to die alongside the man she loved.

Unforgivably disappointing ending for Cersei. Her inevitable death was the most anticipated of the entire show and this is the anti-climatic garbage they served us 😞

“I don’t want to die”

Well that’s rich, Cersei. I can’t imagine Missandei was particularly eager to either. Remember her?

Cersei saying she doesnt want to die. When i first heard that i thought of a quote she once said, “when you play the game of thrones, you either win, or you die”

It’s a weird ending for Cersei but I think it’s a perfect ending for Jaime.

His love for Cersei ends up getting him killed.

Did anyone else notice her inner child pop out when she expressed how scared she was of dying? Especially when she kept saying "I don't like this" and kept looking everywhere

It was painful for her, because she came into full realization that she lost everything. Her children were all dead. Her unborn child is going to die inside her. Jamie is dying. The city is dying. The castle is crumbling. For her, she'd always loved power. And when she thought she had dealt a great blow to her enemy and there was nothing they could do to defeat her because she was in the safest place in all of Westeros. BAM! Her enemy destroys everything in front of her eyes. Other people might have died horrible deaths but they died for a cause. To her, she completely wasn't prepared for it because she always had other people do the dying for her. Her words "Please don't let me die." is such a narcissist and selfish thing to say. Even when she begged Jamie to save her baby, it wasn't for her baby. It was for herself. Also, I believe the only reason she had Jamie and ONLY Jamie's children was because she saw him as the male version of herself. Since she looked down on everyone else, no one else was worthy enough to get her pregnant. So yeah...

You can hate the script but the way they acted this scene was amazing

I think she had a more painful death than more people think she did. She’s holding Jamie, her brother, lover an father of her children as he’s dying faster than she is. She’s also pregnant, she knows they have no children left but the one she has in her, an it won’t make it. The mental an emotional torture is quite grave in her final moments.

My heart goes for Jaime. He was finally becoming a better man but his love for Cersei killed him. Jaime had the best character arc in the entire series.

Jaime’s arc was so well done. Up until he saved Brienne, he was the character I wanted to die most. He had such an interesting storyline and was a good man deep down, he was corrupted by his love for an evil woman.

I don’t have a problem with how she died. She just should’ve died alone. Alone and afraid and experiencing ultimate defeat and despair. She didn’t deserve to be comforted, she deserved a taste of what she dished out to so many innocent people. Just my opinion.

It’s so unfair . After every horrible and cruel thing Cersei did she just gets to privately die in Jamie’s arms . This ending was so infuriatingly unsatisfying for such a monster

Fun fact: the starks did not kill or orchestrated a single lannister death (Edit: main character/family lannister, not anonymus lannister soldier).

am I the only one who was blown away by the slow inevitability of her death, her being a scared little child in the end.... amazing actress and to me, not a disappointing ending. perhaps not a grand one, but a revealing one. she was always a paranoid scared little girl ever since the prophecy and you could see it in her love for her children. her grief and spitefulness made her hardened, delusional and like she's got nothing to lose. I could understand why Jaime went back to her. this was the end of the world, a chance to save her life. I understand how he uses these words to calm her down even if he's made a suicidal choice long ago. This scene hits me every time. I cried the first few times. Lena is Brilliant.

Their deaths were quite poetic. They were born together, and they died together.

For Margaery Tyrell, Olenna Tyrell, Loras Tyrell, Kevan Lannister, Lancel Lannister, the High Sparrow, Tommen Baratheon, Ellaria Sand and the Sand Snakes, Grand Maester Pycelle, Septa Unella, Lady, Ned, Robert, and all the people who died in the destruction of the Great Sept of Baelor.

The most ironic thing about this is after all the fight against both Houses, the Starks didn’t destroy the Lannisters.
