She brought this on herself. She put a religious order into power all because she wanted Margaery gone, not because she was a threat to the crown, but simply because she was jealous.

The thing I love most about this show, is that it does an amazing job at showing how cruel life actually is at times.

The acting of her face is just phenomonal, with how her body was CGI, it synced completely with the body language.

I love that she didn't let the mob see her cry, she only did when she was at the castle entrance, and only her soldiers saw it.

Whilst I did feel bad for her in this scene, I also could not help but feel a bit of satisfaction at the fact that Cersei was finally humbled by someone.

Joffrey may have been an evil little tyrant but he:

1) Had the foresight to strengthen his claim to the throne by eliminating Robert's bastards
2) Was right to be concerned about Daenerys and her dragons
3) Would never have allowed his mother to be paraded around the streets naked and humiliated


Joffrey was too cruel and stubborn; Tommen was too soft and easily swayed. Cersei was too arrogant and narcissistic; Robert was negligent and indifferent. Perhaps the best ruler might have been Margaery Tyrell, who was cunning and manipulative but actually kindhearted.

Best scene in the entire series. The warm and fuzzy feeling I got from seeing her break was so life-affirming.
