Very nice tutorial video for jump starting the RAV4 Hybrid with the engine connection spots!!
I would have like to have seen a segment where you could have provided other contact points to use for the Negative connection if using a portable boost jump starter device. These devices have very short cables and cannot reach to the regular negative bar on the engine, however they are very portable and handy. Maybe you have another video posted or could create such!

I have a Noco Jumpstarter and the cables won’t reach the recommended engine block for the negative. What other places near the positive can I attach the negative cable too? You pointed out the area not attached which was helpful.

why did they design the negative far away from positive? So the portable jumpstart will not work with short cables. I almost buy the portable jumpstart after I found out the distance between two.

So it’s the same presidier to jumpstart (our rav4 phev), if the battery is like completely dead with a nocco-booster and you have to use the ”override” button on the nocco (12v doesn’t light).

If i do not have access to the hood i can still jump start it from the back of the car, connecting directly on the battery, am i right?

I'm asking because my garage (if my battery die while is inside it) i had a big furniture which do not allow me to open the hood if i dont move the car back few meters. so with battery down it would be impossible to jump start it like you show in the video.
