Problem while Connecting Different Rating Battery
In this video, we'll explore the concepts of connecting batteries in series, both parallel and series, and how they affect voltage and amp hour capacities. We'll focus on the potential issues that arise when connecting batteries of different voltages and amp hour ratings in series, and why it's generally not recommended. Let's dive in!

Sir, one thing that you got wrong is that Ah doesn't say how much ampere of load we can take from the battery. Ah Or say Ampere/hour is a unit for capacity of the battery. In the case of 10 Ah battery, if we take 10 ampere from it, the battery will last for one hour. But that doesn't mean thar we can't take 20 ampere from it. By taking 20 ampere, the battery is going to last for half an hour.

You explained that the smaller battery will overheat and may burn when connected in series but I want to know why that happens?

The fact still remains that when two batteries are connected in series, the total voltage to the load is the sum of the voltages of the batteries. It is the load that determines the current that is being drawn from the battery, and not the battery amp or C rating. If the load draws more amps that is above the maximum rating of the battery. The battery can be overloaded and get damaged. It will also lead to voltage drop, which will starve the load of the required power.

You can parallel same voltage different ah battery for combined ah

While battery voltages become same in parallel connection, won't it cause overheating of the smaller battery?
