I accidentally edited the line about Subscribing twice. Sorry! I had a little fun with this one. It was a weird day and so much kept going wrong that I decided to throw away any script and just shoot from the hip. Hope you enjoy!

I walked away from Harley a few years back because of the price of the bikes and more importantly the money you pay for parts and labor. They absolutely kill you in the shop. You have to have deep pockets or be extremely handy working on them yourself. I’m extremely happy with my V -Strom 800 DE. Always love watching your videos Rik. One of my favorite channels. Stay safe on the road, things are wild out there these days

I can't understand why some folks buy bikes, cars etc. and never use them. Never has made any sense to me. Things with engines, transmissions and wheels were made to be driven/rode! 🤘🏼💙

Great take on your new CVO PAS! I have me a 2022 G.I. Enthusiast, I named "Old Abe", the name of the Screaming Eagle, of the famed 101st Airborne Division, the Division I served with in the Gulf War (1990-1991). Keep posting, I enjoy your "Ride On" brother!

Just ran across your channel. It's great seeing a real rocker who is also a REAL rider!..I actually met you around 01 or 02 when you came to the Guitar and Drum shop that I worked at when yall were touring through Raleigh Nc..We were actually carrying your signature sticks and Pork Pie. ANYWAY, my wife and are both avid adventure riders as well as rock fans so this is pretty awesome!..Ride safe wildman and we look forward to checking out more of your channel!

I have the 2022 Panam Special, the army green version, I love it, even with it's few problems. Mine is in the workshop at present, they are upgrading the alternator to the 2024 version, the old one broke, had a loose magnet that was causing it to cut out. I have dropped mine a few times, only scratching the crash bars.
CVO Panam, I think it should have had the Screaming Eagle exhaust. I have a V&H muffler, it is fantastic.

It's a cool review! After some hesitation between the r1, 3gsa and this beast, You've just convinced me to get the 2025 cvo. Thanks Man, I really like this easygoing channel. Keep going and enjoy your rigs!

CVO Pan America is a great bike...and it's good to know that you didn't mess up your paint dropping the previous one. Ride safe

Awesome bike. You are correct, made to ride not set. That CVO is sharp!

I wasn’t sure about the paint job on the CVO… but then i saw one in the flesh, it’s really nice in person. Plus, it’d cost more with fitting labor to add all the extras to a Special than just buying the CVO in the first place i.e. CVO paint is essentially free.

Great video. Not sure if you have tried the Triumph Rocket, but it is a blast and kinda fitting

I freaking love your review man, and it was just what I needed to get my 2024 Pan America from my dealer in New London, CT. I actually told them: "I watched the best bike review from Ricky Rocket, and that's why I'm here..." They had no idea you reviewed this bike. Anyway, loving my new bike, and thank you for such a great/real review.

I could be convinced! I rented one on Maui and wrung its neck around that island. I was impressed with the engine and the brakes especially. I hate on Harleys a little bit (I keep it to myself) but they did a good job on the PanAm.

I have a 21 PA. I have been lucky and my bike has been outstanding. This bike is amazing, but I feel it gets way too much hate on line. If you are a brand loyal person, this bike likely won’t turn your head away from euro and Japanese bikes. It also is not embraced enough by traditional HD guys. My dealership in Edmonton is outstanding. Bottom line, buy what you like. Do your research. Be honest with yourself on the type of riding you want to do, and just get out on two wheels. The CVO is amazing looking. You are 💯 correct, by the time you add all the accessories you will want, you basically have the CVO close to that price. You should look into some bark busters or tour tech hand guards. The bark busters are likely more solid, but the tour techs look better, however they have a lot of small pics to assemble. Great video. 👍

Fun vid, and bravo on supporting DGR! Wait, a plane is going by...

Did the ride in NY, we had 87 scoots in our group and raised over $30, 000. Glad you're a survivor! Ride safe and free.

Couldn’t agree more. Was a bummer that the Screamin Eagle Cannon exhaust didn’t come with it. Just installed mine yesterday

I bought a 2023 Pan America (PAM) Special and love it.. I hate the side kick stand. It leans way to much and when you the hard bags on you have to step peg it to get your leg over and the stand gives in soft terrain. 😢

I'll admit that when it first came out I wondered "No engine work? What's the point?" I bought one a couple weeks ago, and don't think it's a waste at all!

I had a 10 year old KTM that I loved, but was suddenly in a position to get a new Pan-Am. And while I was going to just get a "regular" RA-S, I knew I'd want the luggage for sure. There was a $6000 price difference between the RA-S and the CVO & I realized that the final cost of the 3 cans & mounting gear would be about $2300-2500....that's almost half that price difference.
Then I started looking at all the things the CVO came with besides the luggage & paint job; There's a ton, like the better seat, better skid-plate, many little things like the radiator grill, better grips, tank pads, etc. While a lot of those are things I could live without, I realized after doing the math that you really DO get your money's worth with the CVO. (And I don't have to do the work to install any of it!) And that doesn't even count the extras it comes with like the tool kit & cover.
I eventually realized that "it's a $3000 paint job" is really more just a couple hundred, and that amazing black metal-flake & "orange" (Red!) is worth it. It looks amazing.
