I'm 26 years old and I FEEL EXACTLY like an old infant. From 18 - 25 years old, I did not grow, I was depressed, escaped from reality by playing video games. I had dreams, but I didn't believe in them, I didn't have plans nor the discipline. I HAVE NOT LOVED, never had a girlfriend not because I couldn't but because I didn't like myself and felt like I wouldn't be happy having a girlfriend until I'm happy internally and got my shit together. Now that I'm 26 I FINALLY started to realize I HAVE to go after my dreams, I'm determined, motivated, having goals, plans, and discipline, like a man on a mission, it feels like I'm finally coming out of age to become a man, but instead of being 18, I'm 26 years old. Finding the first love at 26 feels weird as hell when everyone is experienced. I FEEL LIKE A WEIRDO, WEIRD INFANT. I can't help but feel like something is wrong with me/I'm a loser/I'm just a weird person that people would avoid because I've never had a girlfriend at my age.

Dreams and opportunities start to close more as you get older. Can't be a pro sports athlete at the age of 26, settling to be a bodybuilder/fitness model instead. Way harder to be a singer/artist, most people train from their teens and debut in their late teens/the early twenties to capture the young demographics.

This truth hit me so hard I don't what to do. I know people in the comments are gonna say, "You're still young." All I feel is, I'm late, I'm a weirdo/loser for not chasing my dreams/purpose/goals/open to relationships in life when I was a teen, no personal growth, no relationship/friendship growth. No experiences. Literally an infant but with lesser potential.

I came to the realisation that I need something to struggle towards at 16. I'm 21 now, and I've made so much progress in my field.

My God has it been so tough, but it's so worth it.

Also, don't chase women either, it's a complete waste of time. You'll find that when you're laser focused on your goals, women come to you, it makes things so much easier.

If they taught JP in school, men would be on average much more assertive, balanced, and overall happier than what they currently are 🚀🌙

In the 21st century, it's more imperative than ever for a young man to have plans for success and well being ... beginning in their teens .

He summarized my entire crisis nowadays as 25 yrs old boy in 5 minutes.

I'm deeply sad & fighting with the fact of not having potential to be anything anymore & that I have to choose what I'm gonna do for the rest of my life ... I can't have these wild dreams of achieving anything I want anymore, I have to accept reality.

Choose your sacrifice! We are talking about priorities but if we focus on 1 single thing for a long time, magic happens

Dr. Peterson is moving towards Christ and he is taking along followers who was previously a lost atheist. This is unexpected for me...amazing.

Isn't it crazy how much thought goes into stories such as Peter Pan

i apprenticed at 17, 10 years later and some god damn hard work, im working for the best company around locally, own a house, not far to becoming a millionaire. Not bad for a council estate lad with an alcoholic dad.

Sacrifice your youth for progress, once a foundation is reached you slowly make your time for pleasures through the fruits of your labor. It's a long road ahead but a must.

So either you or life will choose what you will give up. It's better you make the choice he's saying.

The low spending percentage compared to what you earn is your wealth indicator.
Try to reduce this percentage by 1% every month, first by spending less, secondly by earning more

So sacrifice and become your work or apprentice to develop maturity and then try to reclaim your childhood after you mature to remember what you were before you made said sacrifice?
