Time, and space, according to Kant, are conditions for the possibility of knowledge/experience. Not the same as categories.

“Time could not really exist” what the hell? Of course it exists for Kant. The fundamental perspective with Kant is the way in which things can be both mentally constituted and still be reality in a functionally complete sense. There is no reality more real than time for us in Kant, literally. Everything is conditioned on time

kant's ctritique of pure reason really made me take mtaphysics seriously for once. However he was wrong about time as a spectacle. Einstein's theory of relativity proved that time isn't merely a conception.

One step in the right direction. Never finished the final step. Which is mortally impossible as well it seems

If you're confused by this then you could reflect on how is it that humans can come to think in the world at all. Kant says that space and time are the *conditions* of the possibility of thought. They are intuitions, meaning that we do not construct them per se they are given to us by our constitutions, but the act of thinking generates what space and time is "in us".

There is one method of considering Time that gives you a different perspective. If you define time as duration you have from the start a necessary condition for the existence of both matter and energy. Without duration nothing can exist for more than a moment and defining a moment is like apprehending a point in mathematics, which can be located virtually but not actually.

The whole thing is a mental creation . Recent advances in quantum physics will lead to the conclusion that Idealism is the Truth . This is bigger than Heliocentrism. Don't ask me - I refer you to Bernardo Kastrup ✌️🕉️

Kant was proven wrong. Einstein showed that spacetime is engraved in the fabric of reality.

What is so incoherent about the notion of time that we have to question it's mind-independant existence?

Talking about time broh. The length of this video was perfect. Those too long, i lost the few seconds focus i use in shorts. Thanks. Philo forever!!!

And then Einstein came along and proved him wrong... Why are we still talking about this one? Time is literally a part of space, not our minds.

Wow that’s dumb. You have to disregard empirical observation, let along the truth of double blind studies to hold such a position. Time is in fact one of the first observable realities man abstracted from.
