How to Use An EPIPEN

This video will show you how to use an EPIPEN, whether you are a civilian or a EMS provider. We utilize EPIPEN's when someone is in a state of anaphylaxis/anaphylactic shock. The epinephrine given in this emergency state will help relieve the respiratory symptoms the patient is having from the allergic reaction.

Worth noting that you need to keep the tip inside of their thigh for more than just a second.

Just had my first severe reaction it was so scary :( i prolonged going to hospital like 30 mins not knowing if it’d go away. But i was there for four hours. It’s now 10hrs since hospital, i still don’t have airways at full capacity but better than initial reaction. My heart rate started going a little fast.

I think you did a good job explaining but you may want to mention that if you put your thumb over the part where the blue cap was you will also get injected

Please do a video on AQST and Libervant. They could bring an end to those epi pens this spring when their listerine film medicine gets approved. It’s faster and more affective than the huge epi pens and easy to take.

I have my trainer one, I was practicing with it but I got the lid jammed, one of the orange tabs is stuck outside of the tube and i can’t pull back out the orange lid to get the tab back inside, is it stuck like this or is it possible to fix?
