A Tutorial on How to Resize/Extend a Linux Partition, Volume, or Disk using Ubuntu. This applies to newer versions of Ubuntu where you don't have a Linux swap partition and can extend or resize your storage by simply using the disks utility. We'll go through the process using Virtual Box.

At 7:27, after putting the password in, in the video, the partition got resized. But on mine, nothing happened. What to do at this point?

got an error "Error resizing partition /dev/sda1: failed to set partition size on device 'dev/sda' (Unable to satisfy all constraints on the partition.) (udisks-error-quark, 0)"

Awesome! I didn't know this was available! I figured I'd have to clone the existing sytem elsewhere, repartition and copy the clone back. That's what I get for not exploring. Keep up the good work.

Hey i am facing and issue in linux of E: You don't have enough free space in /var/cache/apt/archives/.
and i even fully extended the manual partition of 50 and alocated more 85 GB from /dev/sda2 to /dev/sda3 as ext4 format still while doing apt-get upgrade i get the error E: You don't have enough free space in /var/cache/apt/archives/.
what to do plz tell anyone ???
