3 things I learned:
1) You must train your clients to respect your time and it is your responsibility to sell them on why.
2) You do not gain or secure power in the marketplace by accommodating everyone.
3) If you are so concerned about missing one call, you do not have enough of a sales pipeline. “Don’t try to solve a marketing problem with a time management solution! #DanLok”

power comes from supply and demand - you must be in demand, exclusive and scarce. (don't have these mindsets but others need to feel that when working with you)

Astronomical breakthrough with this one. I am struggling to get clients for my business and always pointed it towards a time management problem. - It’s your responsibility to sell others on doing business with you on your terms, for their benefit.
- There’s NO virtue in thoughtless response. Given unrestricted access, cell, email, social media, pressure for, expectation of instant response.
- But Dan, I can’t take this approach yet
- Then it’ll never be. Pretty much everything I do now I was doing long before anybody would think I could financially afford to do it.
- There’s NEVER a perfect time to start, there is always a reason to wait.
- You do NOT gain or secure power in the marketplace by giving into everybody, by accommodation or acting out of fear. Power comes up from SUPPLY and DEMAND.
- Don’t try to solve marketing problem with time management.

I want to know how you visualize your ideal client for a particular business....
Is it different from what I heard about age, gender, education, pain points etc? Or do you view him differently?
