my nana works at a hotel and she tells me stories about how many people try to get free rooms by using stupid excuses or being rude. she usually deals with them by giving them free candy

"Maid"/Housekeeper here! We have to change the sheets after every checkout and at the request of the guest if they're staying more than one night. We also don't clean the cups by hand, they're done in a dishwasher. At my hotel specifically, the glass cups are put in cute little paper sleeves to ensure their cleanliness! Tips are always appreciated though, and will make a housekeeper's day so much better ❤

Perfect timing. I just got fired from a Mariott hotel lmaoo but I can say that we did change sheets daily and cleanliness was our #1 priority because we had many repeat corporate business guests that would leave reviews and whatnot often so.

I used to work for a hotel and we changed every single rooms bedsheets, even if they don’t look touched. That’s a serious health concern no matter what way you look at it and it’s crazy to me that some places simply don’t care.

Pretty much true. But we do change the sheets and pillowcases when cleaning checkout rooms. The only thing we don’t are the pillows and blankets because they take way to long wash and dry. Make sure the blankets are in between two sheets

I'm a housekeeper at a 4 star hotel. Telling you now the sheets are always changed. The glass one though, from what I've seen new trainees do, is true. Color coded cleaning rags and they use the toilet one on the cups and glasses.

I worked for Hilton and we definitely change the sheets every single time we made a room I was able to clean a whole entire room no problem. So this must be for like motels and less prominent places

housekeeper here- the sheets get changed every day, even if it doesn't look touched at all. The liner at the end of the bed is a different story though, get rid of those before you sleep
