That’s cool! I am a reflexologist of 24years and going to try this. I’m also a practitioner working with the fascia for 17years as a Bowen Practitioner if it works I’ll be super excited to share with clients ❤ TY

Thank you! This video is right on time I just learned the majority of my knee hip low back pain is from my feet being so tight with collapsed arches

Im definitely going to try this! I've dealt with an injured lower back for over 30 yrs. Walking, stretching, and pilates have helped. I'm new to the fascia approach, however. It amazes me how the brain-neuro muscular connection can release tight muscles. Years ago, I learned some Somatic movements to release a tight back. There was a term i learned called Sensory Motor Amnesia. The brain slowly disconnects and muscles tighten up. The good thing is that it can be reminded again "oh! There it is, and relax the muscle." It's like recalibrating the connection.

It's not the myofascial tissue. it's the brain and nervous system connection. My MET/MAT specialist had me do the same thing but with a fork on both feet for 1 minute each and my rom and resistance increased significantly. Rolling the feet is good but the issue is weak activation due to poor connection between nervous system and the brain. I was told to start wearing barefoot sneakers and that's exactly what im gonna do.

I'm old enough to remember Slim Goodbody. He wore a full bodysuit that was similar.

Poor posture can tighten it in certain areas. Like of like a long rope of tissue all the way from your feet to your head. You can feel it contract like someone’s tugging down on your skin.

So you got full flexibility on BOTH legs when only rolling the ball on ONE? 🤔

WHAT HAPPENED TO ALL THE SKIN ON YOUR LEGS WHERE DID IT GO??

It's not fascia, it's the nervous system. This known old small massage makes brain release muscular tensions. The work on the fascia is an other story.

Beautiful girl! That’s not your foot rolling the ball, that’s because you are shaking your leg and you did joint mobilization. You may try only shake your leg and see what happens.🎉🙏
