I had great success with this method last winter. (I’m in central Texas) and just started my priming process for this year. There is a cool front coming through I want to take advantage of. Thanks for this!

This works great! Got superb germination in just a couple days. Always have a hard time getting a fall crop started in summer and I now have a huge plot of it under shade cloth that is already producing baby leaves. Thanks for the tip.

I needed to see this. I have a pack of seeds and I'm just waiting for the fall to plant them. Now I'll have a better plan then just crossing my fingers and hoping lol 😁 Thank you so much!!

I did a little experiment. I put the seeds in water for 24 hrs. I put them on a damp paper towel and put them in a plastic bag and left in a dark cool area. I put some out the pack on a damp paper towel, in a plastic bag and placed in the fridge as I have heard some say they need a cold start. I've read you can leave them in or take them out after 24hrs. So I let the ones in the fridge stay for about 3-4 days. When I checked both of them, the ones left in the fridge had done nothing, the ones left on the table that had been soaked, had germinated and had started growing through the paper towel!🤗 Now I gotta decide when where and how to plant them😂as I've also read spinach does not like to be moved once planted👌🏽
