God bless you for all you do, and did help me through my mom's days with Alzheimers. It was only a couple few years. But sje is with our Lord and Saviour now. Praise Him for all His Blessings! In Jesus's name amen.
I too may succumb to this one day, and hopefully regardless with love and grace and good care.

I’m a nurse that has worked in nursing homes and hospice. The hardest thing I’ve seen is caring for a loved one who has dementia. They are there without being there and you are unable to really help them.

Have a sense of belonging involving some that sort thing that rekindles as part of activity putting pieces together maybe a jigsaw which involves familiarity a memory or colouring co-ordination or a job to keep them activating can all help
