No hate to this creator but it’s just something I wouldn’t do and recommend.

I think it’s okay to tell your story in unconventional ways and sometimes guesstimate some of the metrics.

But never outright lie!

The dangers in my opinion go beyond just you not getting the job and doesn’t feel right to me.

But to each his own! What would you do?

#2: What difference does it make if they wouldn’t hire you for being honest in the first place?

Don’t lie about big things guys or for government jobs. Lying is one of the most important skills you need in this world though

Your competing with hundreds of people who lie on their CV and with the economy nowadays and AI CV builders you need to lie. This is where honesty will fail you, when i changed my CV and added some lies here and there I managed to get more job offers.

There's always gonna be one or two people who'll tell you to just do everything morally and it'll work out lol

I don’t think that companies should be blackballing anyone - they can be sued… Let’s say someone has a friend at a company who happens to be on the hiring team (yeah it’s a small world) and that friend contacts the person about this - how do you think this will end for the company that issued the blacklist? Why do you think employment attorney’s are still in business? It’s because companies truly believe they can do whatever they want and that’s really not the case. If someone lied on their resume don’t hire them - simple. Don’t go down a rabbit’s hole - thinking it’s ok to end someone’s career. Companies risk the chance of being tied up in litigation and that’s costly.

How do I fix some employment error? I applied for a job and someone I worked for in the past modified my paperwork and said I was from the military. How do I remove this because this is not true I told the person who hired me that is not true and they said someone you worked for in the past must’ve put it on your record. I asked another one of my military bosses and he said he didn’t do it. He told me to roll with it and I said no I can’t do this. How do I get rid of it?
