The second Thano’s ship showed up Loki should’ve revealed to Thor that he had the tesseract and gotten everyone the hell out of there, all he would’ve had to do is teleport the ship to earth and warn the avengers and get prepared for Thano’s arrival, or even better, he could’ve teleported Thano’s ship into the middle of the sun or a black hole

Thanos was trying to save multiple planets from the eternals destroying them his grandpa is arshim from eternals plus if u read the comics his grandpa tried to kill him.

And arshim even says he needs people to be alive the population so Thanos left half so eternals didn't destroy the universe so Thanos is good but he also likes things balanced.

The problem is if your plan is kill half the universe with the infinity stones but you kill half of each civilization along the way...that is far more than half.
