when loki refers to himself as “odinson” then looks at thor it’s like he knows he’s probably going to die so that’s his way of telling thor that they’re brothers and that just breaks my heart every time
and his TVA file didn’t end when thanos broke his neck it ended after thor’s hug so i think loki wasn’t dead yet and he felt thor’s hug before he died

Just a sad reminder that Loki’s neck was broken, he wasn’t dead but paralysed, your body slowly suffocates you as you shut down so Loki knew Thor was hugging him

This is so sad… Thor had to see his brother die 3 times. He mourned 3 times for his brother. No matter how many times Loki betrayed him, he always loved him.

The look on Thor’s face when Loki dies is so heart breaking
And the way he tries the yell no and how his first instinct when he is free is to grab Loki and call his name even tho he knows deep down he is dead he uses all of his strength to crawl over to Loki
This shows how much Thor has cared for Loki, no matter all his flaws

Just look at Thanos' immediate reaction to those last words from this Loki. For a brief moment it hit him.... hard.
Growing up, he was an outcast, judged by his appearance, ostracised and ridiculed by his people on Titan.
He's always been alone until he basically assembled his own family (or fell in love with Mistress Death in the comics).
He might be immensely powerful but he was never loved, never accepted, never admired as a God would be admired.

And with his dying breath, the God of Mischief was able to strike a final blow and remind Thanos of all of that and more.

Thanos -> Sacrifices half the population to save the remaining half.

Loki -> Sacrifices his life for infinity to save the multiverse.

Now we know what it means to be a GOD.

Let’s admit, we all came back to see this from watching it on LOKI.

In the first two movies, we saw Loki fighting to understand who and what he was. He tried to destroy the Frost giants because he hated being a frost giant. He stopped believing that Odin loved him until Ragnorak. Here, he says he's three things, a prince of Asgard, which as the younger brother of the king of Asgard, he is, Odinson, where he looks at his brother Thor, and the King of Jotunheim, thus accepting he is a Frost giant. He died finally accepting who he is.
