Found a deeper respect and admiration for Dave Ramsey

My sister-in-law had the same thing happen. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. While having treatment at a cancer center and unable to work, her employer paid her her salary faithfully. They continued until she sadly passed away.
What a beautiful blessing it was for her and my brother. Not having to worry about a loss of income while dealing with terminal illness was a gift. They didn't have to, but they did.

A friend of mine worked as an engineer for one of the largest cellphone carrier companies, his entire career. He worked an avereage of 60 hours per week. Shortly before he became eligible for retirement they tried to fire him. He had to hire an attorney to keep his job.
So it warms my heart to hear there are still business leaders who haven't followed this downward trend.
