He’s wonderful

So thankfully this dad made sure his family was financially okay. This is the reason you buy life insurance.

My dad died when I was 9 and my sister was 1. My mum was a stay at home mum while my dad worked. Thank god he worked for the company he was working for. They gave my mum enough money to pay off the entire house and she gets money each month for the rest of her life to live on, and my sister and I get money each month until we're 18 or finish full time education. I'm so thankful.

He gives such good advise. I lost my husband over 8 years ago and was given great advise by my pastor and my 4 school aged kids and I are doing well today.

Lost my hubby in 2007. It took a good 18 months to get a grip on peace again. My heart goes out to this lady. Been there. Nobody wants to be in the widow/widower club.

The fact that she was in pain and still brave to call for help

This call hits home for me. My brother passed away August 2016. It's been very difficult for all of us. I had been watching Dave Ramsey since around March 2016 so I knew not to make any big financial decisions. I even stopped paying extra on my loans. I've just been saving. My mom though she just financed a $36, 000 car. Normally I'd tell her it was a poor financial decision but I knew she was medicate spending and it's helped cheer her up so I didn't say anything other than try to be happy for her

Condolences to this family. I can't imagine the pain they feel right now. So happy that they are in a good place financially that they could focus on getting through they grief and don't need to feel rushed to make any big decisions. Praying for peace for them and may God bless them

I lost my mum last year (very suddenly, in less than 24 hours she went from being healthy to passing away and she was young) and i did a lot of impulse spending. It was all money i have in the bank but i dont regret it at all. All up i spent about $5000, including a very well needed holiday. I dont regret it one bit, you do anything you need to to survive and the things i bought gave me a little bit of happiness in what still is one of the darkest times of my life.

What a great man. Why anyone has problems with him or his company or his teachings I may never understand.

I’m 42 n just lost my husband. Sadly, my husband n I were just planning our life insurance, retirement, etc. but I was blessed with family n amazing friends who helped with his funeral cost. We were able to lay my husband to rest close to his parents. To me, that’s better than any life insurance payout but if I had the choice, I would rather have my husband here with me n be poor together. It’s true what Dave said, some days r better than others. I hope this family is doing better

I have not lost anyone but i feel the pain deeply in my heart. My heart goes for those who lost their love ones regardless whether it was recent or long time ago. It's a hard situation to be in. My prayers are with you.

So thankful that this dad covered his family. My family had a scare a few months back. My dad had a heart attack and had to get triple bypass surgery. He had little chance of surviving the surgery. Thank the Gracious Lord he did. But before the surgery we (his immediate family) made sure everything was tied up in a bow. The will, the power of attorney, enduring guardian, advance health plan, everything. And he made sure that we knew his wishes and the doctors and lawyer knew his wishes. He is perfectly fine now but there is peace of mind there to know everything is done and dusted. He has enough tucked away in his retirement and life insurance that we can easily pay off debts including the house and put some to investment. I started to listen to Dave a couple months before his heart attack so I now have knowledge on how to handle money. Thankyou Dave.
