Is The Demiurge Yahweh? (Gnosticism)

Regardless of how we look at him, Yahweh has been taken on or conflated by Christianity as the Heavenly Father of Jesus. From my study of Gnosticism and the bible, this couldn't be further from the truth.
Yahweh was a war like God who was also conflated with other gods into his mythology. Most importantly, he conflated the God Most High, El Elyon into himself.

I live in Africa the most religious continent on earth ..each time I try to clarify my brothers with some gnostic truth they consider me to be in a cult and make me feel like I am blaspheming ...it really feels lonely to have awakened to a certain truth or reality

When I came across this idea years ago it made so much sense to me that Yahweh or Jehovah would be a demiurge. The god of the bible seems to want to be feared and doesn’t value all life forms equally and in the Old Testament he was very violent. There are passages in the bible that are questionable. Any godly being wouldn’t be jealous in my opinion, because jealousy is a weakness and any being that is a god would seemingly have no reason to be jealous. I got into debating when I used to believe and the more I read the bible the more the god of the bible seemed evil to me. I could get behind the idea of Jesus but Yahweh always seemed cruel.

The world urgently need a purification. For a start, stop calling God " Yahweh" or " Jehovah". Stop worshipping Yahweh or Jehovah. Start embracing the True God, Our Father In Heaven, as Jesus taught us.

Yes, absolutely right. Jesus said that no human eye has seen his Father, only the Son. He also said to the priests of the Jews, "You are sons of the devil?" For is this god the Jews never the father of Jesus Christ. Furthermore, as far as I know, he never mentioned the name “Yahweh.”

If Yahweh was given Israel to be his inheritance by the most high God, then they were supposed to worship him, because he is only addressing Israel. Right? Weren’t the 70 sons of God given a portion to be over? So, if Israel belongs to Yahweh, that IS their God.

The Dead Sea Scrolls has a bit where it states El Elyon and Yahweh waged war against each other. Proving they are not the same. I dont remember what verse but if i find it again ill let you know.

Deuteronomy 32:8-9 clearly says that Yahweh is not the Most High God. El Elyon was and Yahweh inherited Israel as his people. Yahweh was a son of El Elyon according to these verses. The translators tried to obscure it but it's still clearly understood what it was saying.
