It is more like Hinduism and Buddhism. In Hinduism we believe the world is under the influence of maya (illusion) due to considering this maya as ultimate we became ignorant and roaming in this reincarnation cycle. To save us from this maya and suffering because Krishna says in gita the material world is full of sufferings so God himself came here many times doing many past times with his companions and devotees give the holy dharma to the world to get enlightenment. And only by the knowledge of our true self and divinity that we are the spirit souls a part of God himself but we want to enjoy that's why God created this world by influence of maya . Where we can enjoy our senses but there is no pleasure without God that's why this world is miserable . So our main aim is to get out of the world and go back to the godhead or the supreme reality
