sort of crazy that the defense doesn't just do what it should and you have to make all of these adjustments every single play

Super helpful. One of the first videos that actually was helpful and informative. Thanks. I’m really good at defense as it is and I think this video just solved some of the holes I encounter in squads.

In what universe would anyone have the time pre-snap to make these sort of adjustments when it's a challenge itself just to select the proper defender on the first press of the button???

Thank you very much for taking the time to explain while showing these adjustments. I just began a dynasty with San Diego State and I am braving the 15 minute quarter setting.

I got lit up for nearly 800 yards passing by the FCS Coyotes QB who is decent at best despite playing 4-2-5, Nickel and Dime packages knowing full well all the CPU will do is throw the ball. The Coyotes had 34 runs for 50 total yards, and 25 of those were garbage yards.

I’ll keep practicing because I undeniably need it on defense.

You the only person who actually teaches us instead of half assing it and giving us the minimum you give us a lot

As a D-line user, I will take out the underneath routes by just stepping back 5 yards in the middle.

Thank you! I was wondering why my opponent was still successfully throwing post and fade routes toward the sideline when I’ve selected coverage for that. So just adjust the yardage of the curl flats and other zone coverage to one’s specifications. Thank you!

This was def the best madden/cfb defense video I’ve seen so far, got some huge pointers appreciate you, only question I have is what is the best way to stop the players that like to scramble with players like Lamar? I put a qb spy and they just don’t do anything

I’ll run Tampa 2 or cover 2 hard flat and they won’t cover the flat on drags so I gotta change the drop to 5 yards or if I’m in the red zone I do triangle and then whichever button sticks is

What does the “match” mean in cover 3 match?

Idk how well any of this works online but vs the heisman computer i play a ton of 3-4, with underneath coverage or shade inside coverage. Alot of cpu teams run a ton or do quick rpo's and i get a ton of picks doing this even with a 71 overall team. Then on offense just so alot of quick game and low risk high reward plays and WASTE THE CLOCK.

Thanks for advice! Anything for stopping drive plays or crossing routes where there is 3 routes at different levels in the middle of the field?
