Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

“All things are lawful to us” but not all things are helpful, as fallowers of Christ we cannot allow anything to have dominion over us, other then Jesus. Amen.

There's a demon of alcoholism I know so for sure I struggle for 20 years with a drinking addiction I couldn't stop until I pray TO GOD and I heard a voice that told me pray that GOD WILL CAST OUT the demon of alcoholism IN YESHUA HOLY NAME. and that was my cure for my alcohol addiction problem of more than 20 years.

“It is not for kings, O Lemuel, it is not for kings to drink wine; Nor for princes strong drink: Lest they drink, and forget the law, And pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted. Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, And wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. Let him drink, and forget his poverty, And remember his misery no more.”
‭‭Proverbs‬ ‭31‬:‭4‬-‭7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

I totally agree with that, as after a drink over dinner i often felt terrible in bed until next morning. I quit strong alcohol but still take a 1/4 glass or less of wine very rarely but don’t risk losing my mind or being controlled and manipulated (by the evil spirits) especially at night. Being spiritual, through holiness, consecration and righteousness has made me a better man as I continue to work towards perfection. All glory to Jesus.

I've done a lot of research into the history of wine in Roman times. The ancient writers tell us that wine in the time of Christ was 1:3-1:20 of a wine to water ration. Most writers indicate that it was about 1:3-1:8. They often mixed herbs, fruit, and honey into the wine. This is why it was considered medicinal and healthy. Drinking 'strong wine' was fround upon. A Christian should not endulged in alcohol. A Christian should not do something in front of his brother that could tempt him or cause him to fall. Christians should never be drunk. There is a vast difference between 'being glad' on a medicinal drink vs drinking beer or hard liquor.

It is not a sin to drink I agree, the sin comes when you get drunk. Eating isn’t a sin but gluttony is, be angry but do not sin? We must realize God is the most rational spirit, he says sin is death. Food can save you or kill you, a little wine is good for the soul but to much will kill you. God desires us to have long and prosperous lives, not to be cut short by sin and stupidity.

I've never drunk, ive never done drugs, never smoked, i still had a stroke, then a pulmonary embolism within the space of 2 weeks, they did some tests and found a hole in my heart which would have killed me if they hadn't found it, they never would have found it without the stroke. The lord works differently for everyone. I have had 18 TIAs (mini stokes) and just thought i was having migraines.
If you think you are having stroke symptoms i would still go get checked out, if i hadn't i would have been dead in just a few years.

Absolutely true. I was a "casual drinker" and addicted to weed. If I have one or two drinks, I am attacked by demons. I'm scared to death of smoking pot or having THC, my drug of choice. I'd rather die than defy The Lord's Grace!

My grandfather used to say, everything in moderation. Doing anything in excess is not good.

Ephesians 5:18 says: "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit." - a clear command against drinking to the point of drunkenness.

I wish more believers would allow the Holy Spirit to teach them his word. Drinking is not a sin, but drunkenness is not encouraged. If you can't control yourself, don't touch it all. Love his explanation.

Wine is good, but not for everyone, specially for the appointed ones who preach or any other work in the Lord's Kingdom. Amen 🙏

My grandfather was Scilian and taught me how to pick the grapes and rent a press and we always had two fifty gal barrels aging in the laundry room. We always had wine on the dinner table with every meal. I had my first glass at age 11 and I only enjoy it with dinner and do not drink to get drunk. Wine is a blessing from God and should be enjoyed with thanks for the fruit of the earth
