Of fu*king course they pick the OCU block 15 with no HMD instead of MLU block 20 with HMD capabilitie that RTAF also have. Why don't just use MLU block 20? I don't know if our F-16AM have the same kit that the AM in Benelux tree have(extra CM and MAWs) but atleast it will get HMD. Why pick OCU block 15 when there is better variant? Pretty sure that our MLU block 20 doesn't have any game breaking kit that prevent them from choosing it.

Gaijin has mixed many things into this F-16, as far as I know, actual Block 15 OCU (Lighting 103rd Squadron) of RTAF haven't been upgraded at all. Which by Gaijin adding AIM-120A is just "Balancing". Only the Viper 403rd Squadron, the Block 15 OCU is upgraded to eMLU standard, technically European MLU but better radar.

If the F4F ice taught us anything it’s that AMRAAMs are more effective at killing the planes they are mounted on than the ones they are fired at.

2:25 it seems that since the multipath changes, dropping missiles from top down is more consistent with killing multipathers, not because of splash damage but because they come top down, so even with multipathing, the missile will still hit or proxy directly on you rather than hitting the ground anyways.

solution: you have to stay below the launched missile and get into a notch relative to the missile radar, then you can defeat the missile without the usage of chaff. (it is still hard to make this work to be clear, the low countermeasure count sucks)

it is identical to the f16AM, but with fewer countermeasures.
both should be 13.3 along with jf17.
f 16AM does not have HMD, the plane's x-ray says it has it, but it does not, only ACM

now that I know that this F-16 doesn't get thermal with the targeting pod I won't bother grinding it's mods and just focus on my Gripen

The OCU wasn't even capable of using AMRAAM. The only Thai F-16s that had AIM-120 compatible radars are the ADF and (e)MLU. Gaijin botched this one *horribly.* The Thai subtree should've gotten the OCU at 13.0, the ADF (with AMRAAM) at 13.3, and the (e)MLU at 13.7.
