Geese, I just had this surgery a few days ago and after watching this, I just realized I broke so many rules that I am shocked I did not end up with a problem. I have been careful to not put any stress in the area of my new prosthetics, at least I didn't feel like I was putting any stress on it but I was definitely doing many things you said not to do. Thanks for the video, at least I know to be careful about certain things now.

Thank you this really explained how we are supposed to go to the toilet correctly following a THR, I also have made loads of mistakes, thinking I was doing it correctly, hope it won’t cause any issue during recovery 😮

A couple years ago, I got a bidet toilet seat and it has been a life changer. another alternative to toilet paper is to go straight from the toilet to your shower, although that probably is not very hygienic
