Tyrion really had a point there. Playing dirty is sometimes necessary but killing an entire family under the pretense of hosting and blessing a wedding is one of the most fucked up things I’ve ever heard of

Edit: I see a lot of you are pointing out stuff like the holocaust and other tragedies. I’m not talking about real life. I’m talking about the GoT universe. They don’t really mention it in the show but there is a sacred rule about both hosting guests and hosting weddings. It’s literally an unforgivable sin to invite people into your home under false pretenses to murder them, even if you’re killing a family to save thousands. They committed one of the gravest sins you could commit in the GoT universe just to get on the Lannister’s good side

The scenes with these two were electric. Can’t keep my eyes off. They really made us hang on their every word, such rich dialogues… gosh, the good old days.

One of my biggest gripes with this season was that they left out one of the biggest parts of the plot. It was just the slaughter at the wedding that Tywin orchestrated. He actually orchestrated Robb meeting and falling in love with the woman that he did. In the book, it’s the daughter of one of Tywin’s liege lords. This set up for Robb to break his deal with Walder Frey and allowed Tywin to set up the slaughter. It’s a masterful bit of strategy that was completely left out.

You can see the smile in his face I think this was when they both saw each other as equals instead of the disappointment and the old man set in his ways
