The first thing you want to keep in mind when considering deer-resistant plants is the fragrance and the texture of the plant. Deer tend to shy away from plants that are very fragrant and plants that are fuzzy, sticky to the touch, or thorny. Remember, no plants are impervious to deer browsing but there are many plants that tend to have better results than most.
