Also known as "False Spirea", Astilbe are fantastic perennials for part-shade to shade areas in the garden. Watch this video with Noelle, Horticulturist and Education Manager with Petitti Garden Centers, to learn more about how to properly grow and care for Astilbe. Not only do these beautiful bloomers attract pollinators to the shade garden, they are also deer-resistant! Look for early, mid and late season blooming varieties to maintain long-lasting color in your shade garden, and the later blooming and enhanced sun tolerance of the “Visions Series”.

Hi Noelle. I have several vision series astilbes growing in containers. I notice after they bloom by the end of summer their leaves curl & crinkle as if they are going dry even though the soil
Is moist. Is this normal?
