Thanks for those tips. I am a 58 yr old X-cattle farmer in the Boston Mountain range. After extensive research, I bought the mini 3 pro with the RC as my very first drone. I also bought the extra blade pack and battery packs (45m) with the 3 battery charger.) I couldn’t have made a better choice for a beginner drone pilot. It was a little intimidating at first so it sat in its box for a week after it arrived. I was almost scared to fly it in fear of crashing ; BUT, I reviewed the beginner instructions several times and took off. I was in awe what it could do. Now I check on my cattle while never having to leave my house. I’m also on the pre-order list for the DJI propeller guard. I also bought the two year replacement insurance and landing gear so it’s up off the ground. I absolutely! Love this drone and would recommend it to everyone thinking about getting into flying. It can be a wonderful useful tool. I’ve taken it up 1/4 mile with a 1 mile distance with no problems. I can’t express how much I enjoy this

I got the mini 3, it’s the perfect drone for a beginner. obstacle avoidance isn’t needed when you live in the prairies and there is a way for it to track your movements with the mini 3 very easily.

Im still using the 1st mavic pro. And it still puts out beutiful images

I’d save my pennies for the pro… I do have a couple of drones that I love big time and they’re very capable of everything that I need. But the pro is what I would definitely try to get if I were in the market for that.

Funny blooper: you mentioned there being five differences and showed five fingers, yet said there’s not three while you showed four fingers. Your vid’s are always a joy to watch.

I just need a small, easily compact, effective, reliable, long distance eye in the sky. I went 3. Longest flight time. Better then you need camera. Perfect recon tool. Great price for what it is.
