Mini 2 SE is a good price point for a first drone ($339). It's not 4k video but that doesn't matter. Pictures are still 12MP: 4kx3k. You're not buying this because it's amazing; you're buying it because you don't have the money for a mini 3 Pro :D

As with digital cameras and resolution in video, Imo I believe the naked eye can’t see that much difference, if any. It seems to be a sales pitch. Which costs more money which isn’t necessary. Unless you are a professional.

The bad thing about making this mini 2 se is they cut off some of the features just to be affordable for consumers but they are going the wrong way. Instead make a better one than the mini 2 and sell their previous mini 2 in a affordable price right? People are not stupid, who wants to buy a piece of technology that is going backwards just to make it affordable for everyone?

DJI mini 2 are difficult to get now, even the DJI website doesn't have anything older than the mini 2 se listed. $279 both DJI & Amazon and Amazon wants $325 for just the mini 2, no controller or battery included, and there is only one listing for that. Now the Mini 2 se are in abundance on both sites, and unless you really need the 4k (and if you do you want better than both of these) video the mini 2 se (I have) is perfect for recreational use. 🚁
