You don’t Distinguish hyperactivity from attention deficit. It’s an important distinction when determining whether to take a stimulant like Ritalin or hyperactivity versus Atomoxetine For attention deficit. These are important neurological as well as medical distinctions that you should clarify when speaking to the general public.

Methylphenidate kinda ruined me. I'm an adult now & im considering to get adderall. Methylphenidate ONLY helped me study. Everything else like eating sleeping talking moving reacting all these things were completely suppressed

Amphetamines are better than methylphenidate because in adults you feel nausea and too anxious. Not help you focus. 😢

Ok. Why is no source provided or even the name of the study??

Hello good doc, thanks for the info. Liked and Subscribed.
Qs. Given that stimulant options for ADHD exacerbates OCD symptoms in patients with both, do you think Guanfacine is a good option for those with the comorbidity? Also, do you know of some other alternative combos to treat the comorbidity? Thanks.

I am inattentive, a INFJ personality, with combat ptsd. I am not hyper at all other than I hyper focus on things I enjoy and have no attention or memory for anything else. What’s best for me?

So the conclusion is that these results apply only within the scope of 3 months? Isn´t a heuristic that ADHD meds start loosing their effectiveness, in various ways, after the mark of 8-12 weeks...?

One super old med is about the same as the other super old med, and stuff many people said in presentations 6 years ago in youtube glad its definitife, can we now have good treatment so we find the right medications and dosage and it being adjusted like insulin over the years? Being unproductive and having tonns of problems while feeling shit is way worse than being productive and reaping the rewards, its hard to have a brain like this need more professional and techology guided adhd assistance! Its maybe in 100 years when everyone has a yat then we might fix adhd treatment great

I'd like a non abusable desoxy. Like they did with oxycontins. Methamphetamine in my personal experience in life had the least amount of side effects, when used in a proper therapeutic amount" way better than adderall, and methylphenidate made me angry and nausea when I got hungry

Has anyone tried either transcranial biophotomodulation (infra red light, or 810nm) deep brain stimulation, or ketamine treatments for ADHD?

Correct me if I am wrong, but is this all about comparing two different medications one of which has been used for 80 years and the other is nearly 25?
And although there are at least tousands of users for at least 25 year old medication, the guys run a research with 133 people, and decide which one is better STILL not properly explanining the long term effects?
Brilliant, I hope you guys totally have an idea totally about medications before the ADHD is eradicated in next millenia.😒

The biggest problem with the medical proffesion is that many doctors see adhd as purely a psychological condition when it has been proven beyond any doubt with experiments on rats that adhd is caused by the brain missing out on a key stage of development due to being under stimulated in the early years of development either through diet or environmental conditions or both. When you deprive rats of stimulation they become hyperactive and can only be calmed down by medicating with a stimulants (Glucose) Its very obvious the adhd brain is simply craving stimulation of any kind it can get in order to calm itself down. Why is it people with adhd calm down on stimulants and people without adhd become hyperactive on the same medication?. ITS NOT ROCKET SCIENCE!!!! JUST TELL PATIENTS TO EAT HONEY! (NATURAL GLUCOSE)

I'll rather let my powers out!! Because I have ADHD I use them for my intelligence. Like writing running doing something fun. Stop being depressed and drop the meds. Be happy and be who you are!! Bc life is to short. We're hyper for a reason.
