About 10 years ago, I planted garlic that my grandmother gave me from her yard and every year it still grows in the same spot. I had spent the day with her gathering some and she gave some to me to plant. That was one of the last memories I remember having with her and every year it makes me smile to see it in my parents backyard. I also absolutely loved picking blackberries in her yard growing up and she would wait to gather them just so I could help pick them with her since she knew how much I loved it. I miss her everyday!

My son and hubby found wild garlic and planted it in our flower bed and it grew back every year! Then we moved and my now 13 yo son sprouted some like this and planted it again and it still grows:)

Usually you just wait till just before winter and plant the bulbs, cut off the scapes and they'll be ready in July

I just started my today😊 🧄 kept spouting in the fridge so I told my wife I was going to plant them, along with green 🧅, 🥕, and bell peppers🫑

I tried it and unfortunately it died but I then decided to plant the bottom of an onion instead and it worked! After some weeks, you can cut the leaves, which are "cebolinho" which is a plant that is used for some dishes and idk the name in English 😅, and cook them!

Plant garlic outside in the winter it will grow all year. Very cold hardy perennial edible plant it needs cold to grow big bulbs but can be grown in Florida with shade or tropics.

Plant garlic outside 2 weeks before the first Frost if you want some real garlic heads. Then it goes dormant in the ground all winter long. Comes back in the spring and dies before summer. Harvest the garlic

Try growing them right before winter they'll grow though once they sprout you need to cut off the garlic tops & the bulbs will grow

I read somewhere plant 10 October-10cm deep -and 10 cm apart, it's 10-10-10 method.
