This isn’t accurate, it won’t take you 30 minutes, he just got lucky, the odds are 1/8192, for a specific shiny and 3/8192 for any shiny starter, it takes a very long time

"Should only take you about 30 minutes" my ass dawg, this is a full-odds hunt before the gen 6 shiny odds cut. Even with speedup, it would take you around 20 hours to reach odds. Love that you got a statistically improbable early shiny, and I'm happy for you, but spreading shit like this just isn't it man. When making a guide for something like this, ESPECIALLY in gen 4, you've gotta prep people for what they're going into.

On my old dsi I can do 2 resets per minute, so around 360 encounterd per hour. At 1/8000 odds I'm lucky to get it after 20 hours 😅 this vid is big misleading
