Most Baptist churches believe this: if you divide anything beyond 'old testament/new testament' you are hyper-dispensational. Most don't know that even the 4 Gospels don't entirely apply to us today! We need more of this kind of teaching!

Most IFBers wouldn't know hyperdispensationlism if it slapped the quarter pounder out of their mouth.

As I understand it, hyperdispensationalism is more of a principle of belief than a delineation of specific beliefs. The reason why I believe there’s a more of a spectrum than a hard line of hyperdispensationalism is how every hyperdispensationalist will say they’re not a hyperdispensationalist.

As I see it, hyperdispensationalism is a principle or foundational belief that the sum total of God’s revelation found within a specific dispensation is limited in its direct application to that particular dispensation. For example, the idea that Matthew only has direct doctrinal application to Israel, or that 1 John is only for tribulation saints, or that Paul founded the church, or that people were saved by works in the Old Testament. So then within that spectrum of thought, there are some who want to run from some of the natural conclusions. Well, sorry, but that’s the way it is.

The Bride of Christ is also the Body of Christ because of the 2 becoming 1 in marriage. "Make twain, one flesh."

Isaiah 8:20
To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

1 John 1:8
If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

When they say John 3:16 doesn’t save people today, I’d say that person is a Hyper dispensationalist. Those people will say the gospel is found only in 1 Corinthians 15:1-4

Ezekiel 18:31
Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?

Ephesians 4:31
Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.

No, Jesus started the Church himself, just like he said he would. He called out his disciples before he went to the cross. The church was up and running BEFORE the day of Pentecost!

Topic: Bride of Christ
I may disagree with you. There is inconsistency. There are 4 BASIC RIGHT DIVISIONS in the scriptures and grouped them. If there are differences in the Bible we should them apart as Jer. 23:28 says, "What is the chaff to wheat? saith the Lord."

GROUP A. GROUP B
Prophecy. vs. Mystery
Israel. vs. Church (B.O.C)
Earth. vs. Heaven
Law. vs. Grace

Difference of audience & their apostleship:
Who is the writer of Ephesians? •Paul, an apostle to the Gentiles. (Galatians 2:7-9)

•Writer of Revelation?
John, apostle to circumcision. (Matt. 10:5-6, Gal. 2:7-9)

Prophecy vs Mystery
•A PROPHECY HAD BEEN SPOKEN SINCE THE WORLD BEGAN (Luke 1:68-70, Acts 3:18-24).

•A MYSTERY HAD BEEN KEPT SECRET, HID IN GOD (Eph 3:5, 9, Col. 1:26-27, Rom 16:25)

EARTH vs HEAVEN - these two spheres of dominion are different.
•EARTH was promised to the nation ISRAEL (many verses will support that in the O.T.)

•HEAVEN is promised to the body of Christ. (Eph. 1:21-23, 2:6-7, Col. 1:13; Col. 3:1-2, Phil. 3:20). We are not promised of earthly possession. (Sorry, sir, I will not take what's not mine.)

In Ephesians 5, we are already one with Christ and in Christ because the Spirit baptized us into his body so we are already in His body. We are one flesh with Christ, instantly, at the moment we got saved and not in the future.

In Revelation 21, I read the chapter but all I found and read that it is a physical and the flavors of the passage is all about Jewish language - holy Jerusalem, 12 tribes of Israel, 12 apostles, 12 gates.

Grace and peace to all :) Godbless :)

I believe water baptism is entry into a local church.

So the body of Christ began in Acts 2, but the dispensation of grace began at Acts 13?

It’s difficult to see the connection between a saved born-again sinner judging himself I.e. hebrews 12:1laying aside the weight and the sin that besets us.with Confession of sin in order to receive forgiveness. What complicates it is (spiritual circumcision), and Paul’s statement about” it is no more I that do it”Rom.7:17. So if the answer is for fellowship (confession of sins to God)we would understand in Scripture it says we worship him in spirit and in truth. So to the best of my understanding this fellowship can only be hindered by our willingness to walk in the flesh. Lay aside that weight and presto fellowship restored. If this is wrong I am more than willing to change my mind about it. Thank you for your labor in the scripture

I'm not a hyper dispensationalist but I have struggled to get application outside of the pauline epistles.

Oddly, baptism isn't crystal clear in the new testament.
