Very cool to see a Corvette getting some love across the pond! A couple things I noticed about that car: 1) the wheels should be switched to the other side of the vehicle. The vents on the wheels are supposed to point forward in the direction it rolls.

2) I think the upper rear bumper section has been replaced with a part from a later-model Corvette. The third (centre) brake light was only introduced in 1986 due to govt regulation. On coupes it was on the roof bar above the rear hatch. On convertibles (which were also introduced in 1986) it was a rectangular light in the middle of the bumper above the Corvette emblem, just like on your car. So the car at some point had its bumper replaced with a bumper from a red 1986 ~ 1990 convertible.

My guess would be there is no wiring in the 1984 car for that third brake light so I'd be curious to know if it's been modified to work or not?

Great review! Wheels are on backwards though. It's not just for looks, but a function of the wheel drawing air in towards the brakes for cooling. They really need to be put back to factory standard.

Surely 9:1 is the compression, nothing to do with the diff?

Don't swap the wheels. They are supposed to go the other way.

It is a bit over priced. A 1984 Corvette C4 with less than 100k miles and in great condition is typically valued about $6k (dollars) with most C4's needing a heck of a lot more maintenance once they hit 140k miles because their engines are clapped out by then. The mileage on this one of 124k doesn't give the buyer much time to enjoy it until they have to dig deep into their pockets for maintenance. I would be interested in this car for sure but sorry not at the asking price.
