Chevrolet Corvette: The Pride Of America, But Stay Away Of These Models

Nobody can say no to a Chevrolet Corvette but these 10 cars are struggling to find many takers. Chevrolet Corvette is the pride of America. It is that one supercar that out-and-out proved you don't need deep pockets to own a supercar. The Corvette has always been an underdog as it offered serious performance that put European supercars to shame at a fraction of the cost. They are super affordable and are a popular choice in the used car market if you want something quick and affordable. And to be honest, nobody can say no to a Chevrolet Corvette, right?

However, there have been some rather unremarkable Corvette models over the years which have been confined to the dark corners of the used car space with little takers for them. Here are some such Chevrolet Corvettes that nobody seems to be buying..

Selling my 89 C4 was the worst decision I have made regarding cars. Great styling, power, and easy to work on.

This guy made a video telling you NOT to buy a 1953 Corvette. Enough said. 🤣🤣🤣

Uhm, "Nobody Is Buying" yet 1988 Commemorative sold for $350, 000. OK, clickbait title. And I would take a 1958 C1 if I could.

Half of these cars are genuine collectables, and I don't mean it the way every Corvette owner says their car is "rare". Nobody is paying rock bottom prices for a Calloway!

The narrator is knocking the Corvette because he is probably a Subaru lover.... LOL!

I owned two C-4s. A lot of good engineering went into C-4s. Brake-stopping power was world class. After the 1984 the acceleration and fuel economy were great reaching 25 MPG for a 350 cubic inch engine and air conditioning was standard. They still had smooth and consistent power which was an engineering accomplishment. There were imperfections as with any car but C-4s deserve respect as a big part of Corvette evolution. Thanks to Dave McLellan the Corvette was not discontinued under corporate pressure but instead it evolved.

This guy really wouldn't buy any of these Vettes if there was one for sale right in front of him? He needs to send it my way then.

So much misinformation in this video...

87 Callaway Twin Turbos had 345 horses and weren't unreliable either.

I have a 1989 C4. I have done a lot of modifications on it and it is fast and a show winner.

My brother just bought a c4 convertible. For $4, 000. It's in pretty good shape the little nitpicky things are going to be a problem though. That being said the Tpi 350 is a smooth-running Torquey engine first gear in a 700 r4 it's pretty cool

Avoid the 1958 Corvette...oh, ok. If I ever have the opportunity and means to get one, I'll run the other direction. Thanks.

I have 2 C3’s and my 1975 4spd has a rebuilt l48 with new heads, cam, headers, edelbrock intake & carb. It’s fast as you’d want it to be and it’s hella fun to drive!

The 75 sure is a gorgeous vette though. Stunning actually.

This seems off. Stay away from a Callaway? Current pricing on decent C4' have come up a little. Not sure if the presenter really understands the corvette market.
