You open the sink cupboard door and oww!!! there is water everywhere. Don't panic it`s a straight forward job that in most instances does not require any tools.

My husband fixed the leak under our sink after watching your helpful video. Of course it would start leaking on a Sunday, the day before my sister is going to visit, so we were going to call a plumber out tomorrow, but now, thanks to you, we don’t have to. You are an absolute star for making this. Thank you xx

Thanks for the tip for using PTFE tape to fix the leak. I moved into a new house recently and the waste pipe in the kitchen had a very slow leak. I really couldn't be bothered with the faff of contacting my landlord or a plumber for such a minor issue, plus I had some PTFE tape anyway in my tool box. Took me all of 10 minutes to fix it. Job well done! :)

Ha ha... it kills me that a plumber wanted to charge me $400.00 US dollars plus to hook my sink back up after I had other work done...I DON'T THINK SO !!! DISGUSTING ! I'm a single woman out of work caring for my elderly uncle w/ Alzheimer's full time, that being after dealing with my mother that passed away & now I am trying to pay her past bills. I figured out how to do most of this myself before watching this video but this definitely confirmed to me what I needed to know. THANK YOU !!!

Thank you so much for posting this!!! I was sure my leak was going to be something serious... but thanks to your video, I fixed it myself in 5 minutes. It took me longer to move the stuff out from under the sink than it did to solve the problem. Cheers!

I tried to be a plumber, took everything apart, got my kitchen floor flooded and sat for hours staring at what i did and cried.
Came across your video. Thank you very much. Love you! ❤

Thanks so much for this. I had a leak from my sink and like you said early on in the video, it was just a loose nut that needed tightening. You saved me a lot of hassle during this lockdown!

Thanks for posting this video - super helpful. It’s the second time I’ve referred to your videos for a plumbing related issue and both times they’ve really helped me out. All the best

Thank you for the quick & easy video, ain't nobody got time for waffle! It took me less than a minute to replace washer & have sink up & running! I checked out your video to confirm my suspicions that it was just a washer.
Great vid 👍

When you said, "Have a bowl handy", I immediately thought, "There's a sink there to pour the water in to..." Doh!

Thanks for posting this. I followed your instructions and was able to fix the leak myself just by using sealant. Far cheaper than calling plumber.

I was about to get a "man" in then decided to check youtube first. I'm glad I did. You saved me at least 40 quid with your very clear, easy to follow video. Thank you sir!

Thank you! It started leaking under the sink yesteday. I was just back from a day of cycling so I watched this but being tired, I stuck a plastic box underneath to catch any water in case (which I did at times) I forgot not to use the kitchen sink. Woke up fresh this morning and using a bit of duck tape to tighten the connection (also removed the U bend, cleaned it out etc) and problem is fixed, The U bend I guess is not far off 20 years old so I'll "splash out" and get a new one and if / when it leaks next time, I'll just change it.

Thank you so much for taking the time to video this! It saved me a lot of panic. The pipes had completely separated, I'm guessing that the vibration of the garbage disposal loosened the nut over time. I fixed it in no time after a lot of cleaning up.

thank you so much.   Yes, I panicked, then I checked your video, went to store and got the new parts, and now it seems like brand new.
