They do everything she said they do, and if you become the chosen one by a Russian Blue they will never leave you alone again, even when you shower or bathroom, make sure the doors locked because they can open doors like it's nothing. I suggest getting a Russian Blue for someone who has lost a spouse if they like cats, because theses cats will be front and center one on one attention. The cats won't bother other family member's with their needs, they pick that one person to take care of them. My cat is a lap cat, he can't wait for me to put the pillow on my lap. don't try to take them outside they hate it but love to set and watch from a big window. and yes they do make a lot of noise when you leave even if someone is home they will meow loudly for you. give them a high space because they love to watch everything you do. MY Russian Blue named Buster I've had for 9 years after my Husband died, and he really is a good therapist, and companion. And also they are not very agile because they are not sleek cats, they are more massive, they knock things down alot, and are more prone to be injured, so watch out for your kitty when he/she become bigger, and older.

I dont own a russian blue but have lived with one for 2 1/2 years now that is owned by my roommate, and apparently has latched onto me as his favorite. Guy follows me everywhere and sleeps with me almost exactly like a stuffed animal with hugs and all everynight. My roommate has never fully gotten over it.

I adopted a Russian blue and I'm never going back! I love him so much. He's loyal, sweet, independent. He loves to sleep in my loft bed. He also gets some with my dogs. He looked to lay beside me when I relax in my bed. I love giving him head scratches

Great video!! I got my Russian Blue cat at a Shelter when he was 4 months old. They listed him as “Grey Domestic”, I had no idea he was a Russian blue until I saw one that looked like him later. So I got a Russian blue for only $50!! He is extremely clingy and has definitely chosen me as that one person he connects to. He’s vocal, sweet, and cuddly. He definitely is a hunter, he likes to hide instead of climb, and he is very reserved around new things or people. He is EXTREMELY jealous though. He doesn’t even like me holding my pillow at night. Lol! He doesn’t like when any one else gets more attention from me. But that may just be him, idk. Lol I love him so much!!

I have a Russian blue that I got 3 years ago that I raised as a 1 month old kitten, his name is Orion. We pretty much saved him because the shelter he was at was really bad, and he had ticks and fleas. We cleaned him up and he stayed in my room for a while away from our other animals. I remember the first night we had him I made him a little bed, but when I went to lay down he just followed me instead and curled up in a little ball next to my face. Now he is grown up and he still tries to sit on my shoulders like he would when he was small 😂, he loves to be carried around like a baby and he will always respond with a meow whenever I say hello to him after being gone for a while. If you are looking to get a Russian blue, I couldn’t recommend it enough

Also my cat was like $100 when we got him, and he’s never had any problems since we took him in from the shelter, says a lot about the shelter we got him from I think

I have wanted a cat for the past two years. I am 15 years old and my parents are getting me a beautiful Russian Blue kitten for my christmas gift. I mentioned it to them every day for the past year and it's finally here! I am so grateful and I am so so so excited!!! I have a dog and will walk him with the dog.
